Lyle, Stena (Marriage - 17 Apr. 1940)

On Wednesday, April 17, Mr. Adolph Rossman of Beaver Township and Mrs. Stena Lyle of Loyal were quietly married at the Methodist Parsonage in Thorp, Rev. James Irish, pastor of the church, performing the ceremony.

Monday evening the couple was pleasantly surprised when about 20 friends and neighbors from Loyal and Veefkind gathered at their farm home in Beaver and entertained them with musical numbers composed by the musicians themselves and heard only on such occasions, charivaris. After enjoying this music for sometime the friends were invited into the Rossman home where lunch was served and an enjoyable evening spent by all.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Rossman are well known here and have many friends who join the Tribune in extending congratulations.
