Weideman, Ferdinand (28 July 1867 - 5 Oct. 1937)
Ferdinand Weideman, prominent Abbotsford pioneer, died of cancer Tuesday, Oct. 5. Funeral services will be held at Abbotsford Saturday, Oct. 9th, at 1:45. The deceased was born at Sheboygan Falls July 28, 1867 and settled near Abbotsford when nineteen years of age. He was married to Anna Schultz in November, 1889. She preceded him in death in November, 1919.
The deceased is survived by four children - Louis Weideman of Abbotsford, Herbert Weideman of Abbotsford, Norma Colby of LaCrosse and Helen Holtzhausen of Abbotsford, Wis. Also 10 grand children and eight brothers and sisters - Fred of Two Harbors, Minn., August of Abbotsford, William of Fenwood, Herman of Colby, Lena Grier of Colby, Augusta Wehrman of Abbotsford, Julia Schultz of Abbotsford and Lizzie Schulte of Fenwood. One son and one daughter preceded him in death.
