Becherer, Emma (12 Jan. 1886 - 8 Oct. 1937)

Miss Emma Becherer, a native of Colby, died of cancer at the Bethesda Lutheran home at Watertown, Wisconsin, last Friday and F. W. Lulloff, funeral director, autoed after the body Saturday. Funeral services were held at the Zion Ev. Lutheran church Monday afternoon, Rev. O. Hoffmann officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery. Pall bearers were Chas. Weller, Chas. Huhn, Alvin Brehm, Frank Ladwig, Wm. Schorer and Robert Brotherton.

The deceased was born in Colby and had reached the age of fifty-one years, eight months and twenty-six days and lived at Watertown the past two years. She is survived by her father, Albert Becherer, and two brothers and one sister, Louise, William and Bertha Becherer, all of Colby.
