Spaeth, Charles F. (31 MAR 1847 - 3 APR 1938)

Charles F. Spaeth of Cadott died last Sunday morning at the age of 91 years and 7 days. Mr. and Mrs. Spaeth recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary. Mrs. Spaeth preceded him in death just a few months ago.

Mr. Spaeth is well known to residents of this community (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), having at one time made his home at the home of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Agnes Spaeth of this city.

Mr. Spaeth had been a resident of Clark and Chippewa Counties ever since 1862, before the day of the first railroad and continued to live in these counties until the time of his passing.

Funeral services were conducted last Tuesday afternoon from St. John’s Lutheran Church of Cadott, with the Rev. K.C. Bubeck officiating. Among those from out of town attending the services was Mrs. Agnes Spaeth of this city.
