Haemer, Edith (14 SEP 1883 - 17 MAY 1938)

Mrs. Edith V. Haemer passed away Tuesday, May 17, 1938, at the LeGault Hospital where she had been confined since she became seriously ill May 15. Funeral services were conducted from the home Friday, May 20 with Rev. P.F. Pfaffman officiating. Interment was made in the Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) Cemetery.

Mrs. Haemer was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stark. She was born in South Moline, Ill., Sept. 14, 1883. On Aug. 21, 1907 she was united in marriage to Ernest J. Haemer at Moline where they made their home until 1920. At this time they moved to Owen (Clark Co.) where they settled on a farm and have resided until the time of her passing away. She was 54 years of age.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and two sons, Lloyd of Greenwood and Clyde, who is at home, and one sister, Amanda Berry of Port Byron, Ill.

Pallbearers at the services were: Arthur Awe, William Awe, Adolph Schroder, Joe Kauznik, Melvin Engelbretson and By Stone.
