Peterson, Donna Rae (Marriage - 1953)
The Rev. William Koehler officiated at services at 3:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon in which Miss Donna Rae Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson, Neillsville, and Hans Jack Harder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Harder, repeated vows in Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church, Neillsville, Wis.
The bride was attired in a white linen suit with belted flared back accented by a white lace hat and pearl accessories and a corsage of orchids and stephanotis.
Mrs. Duane Coyier wore a light blue suit, identical to her sister’s, in her role as matron of honor. Rosebuds formed her corsage. Best man was Rene Harder, brother of the groom, Neillsville, Wis.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Harder both graduated from Neillsville High School this spring. At the present time the bride is a counselor at Camp Higichari and the groom is working in a factory. In the fall he will attend the University of Wisconsin.
A reception was held at the bride’s home and a dinner was served at Weber’s Fireplace.
After a honeymoon in Wisconsin Dells the newlyweds will reside in Neillsville, Wis.
