Bandelow, Marin Humes (26 Feb. 1909 - 17 July 1942)

Marlin Humes Bandelow, died of a heart attack at two a.m. Friday, July 17, at his home in North Pine Valley.

Mr. Brandelow sustained a fractured leg about six weeks ago in a fall at his home. The injury was a particularly serious one for the young man hand, since early manhood, suffered with an affliction which was a result of a long and severe illness.

The departed was 33 years of age. He was born Feb. 26, 1909, to George and Nellie Bandelow at their farm south of this city. He attended the Neillsville schools and assisted with the work on the farm.

On Nov. 16, 1933, he was united in marriage to Miss Velma Kalsow. They lived on the home farm for a time, later living in the town of Lynn and for the past several years they had lived on the old Watters place north of Neillsville, Wis. They were the parents of one daughter, Florence, who died at the age of four years.

Surviving are his wife, his father and a brother, Leland Bandelow, all of Neillsville, Wis. His mother died sixteen years ago.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 20, 1942. Brief services at the home preceded the rites at the Neillsville Methodist church. The Rev. Obed Asp officiated. Burial took place in the Neillsville Cemetery.
