Umlauft, Lucille E. (3 Jan. 1928 - 23 Sept. 2007)
Lucille E. Umlauft, 79, a resident of Bethel Nursing Home and a long time resident of Marshfield, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, at Saint Joseph's Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at Hansen Funeral Home in Marshfield. The Rev. Tricia Turner will officiate with Kathy Biederwolf providing music and Duane Helgerson serving as soloist. Burial will be in Brooklawn Memory Garden. Pallbearers will be Lucille's grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at the Hansen Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Lucille Elverna Marion Augustine was born Jan. 3, 1928, in Colby, a daughter of Albert and Amanda (Conrad) Augustine. She attended Atwood School near Colby.
On May 10, 1952, in the town of Green Grove, the former Lucille Augustine was united in holy marriage to Isadore Joseph Umlauft. The couple made their home in Marshfield.
Mrs. Umlauft was a homemaker and also operated a home daycare for area families. Lucille imparted love and nurture to more than 100 children over the next 30 years.
Mrs. Umlauft enjoyed making crafts, playing cards, listening to music and playing the piano. She was an adoring wife, mother and grandmother.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Isadore, Bethel Nursing Home, Arpin; children, Myrna (Len) Shaw, Vesper, Isadore (Sheila Hommerding) Umlauft, Jr., Auburndale, Larry Umlauft, Eau Claire, Star (Paul) Anacker, Wisconsin Rapids, and Renee (Rick Engevold) Schmitt, Marshfield. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Kevin, Loren and Michael Shaw, Krisan (Paul) Shaw (Laube), Kimberly (Evan Napper), Ashley, Travis and Kristina Schmitt; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Alison Laube, Jaidyn Napper and Cameron and Katrina Schmitt. One sister, Erma Schultz of Colby, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, further survive Lucille.
Preceding Mrs. Umlauft in death were her parents; and brothers, Marvin, Elroy, Melvin, Norman and Delmer
