Sage, Evelyn 'Snooky' Dora (8 April 1940 - 25 Sept. 2007)
NEILLSVILLE -- Evelyn Dora Sage, 67, of Neillsville died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services for Evelyn will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, at the United Methodist Church in Neillsville, Wis. Interment will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting Evelyn's family with funeral arrangements.
Evelyn was born April 8, 1940, in Milwaukee to Isadore and Minnie (Molkentin) Tyloch. She was married to Albert "Chick" Wesenberg from 1957 to 1970. She was then united in marriage to Orval "Ole" Sage in 1972. They lived on the Sage family farm. Ole died in 2005, and in 2007 Evelyn moved to the Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville, Wis. She worked as a NA at the Osseo Nursing Home for seven years. She then worked full-time hobby-farming.
She is survived by her son, Pete (Joan Rosenquist) Wesenberg of Neillsville; daughters, Cheryl (Ron) Baude of Spooner, Linda (Ron) Gurney of Neillsville, Ethel (Wayne) Kalsow of Neillsville, and Karrie (Rick Rendell) Sage of Black River Falls. She also is survived by brothers, Bernie Tyloch of Milwaukee and Izzy Tyloch of Crivitz; sisters, Anna (William) Spear of St. Francis, Mae O'Neil of Milwaukee and Helen (Al) Martin of Amberg; and 10 grandchildren.
