Bakke, Edna (16 JUL 1938)
On Saturday, July 16, 1938, at 4 p.m., occurred the marriage of Miss Edna Bakke, daughter of Mrs. Anna Bakke, Westby, to Hans Neilsen, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). The double ring ceremony was performed at the Little Brown Church in the Vale, near Nashua, Ia., by the Rev. Kent. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Victor Bakke, Westby.
The bride wore an ankle length gown of pale blue chiffon and the bridesmaid was dressed in rose. The groom and best man wore oxford gray suits and white shoes.
The bride is a graduate of Westby High School and the Wis. Business University of La Crosse, and has been employed as stenographer at the Salzer Seed Co., at La Crosse for a number of years.
The newly married couple will reside on the groom’s farm near Withee. Their many friends join in wishing them the best of life’s happiness.
