Andersen, Margaret (13 AUG 1938)
(Kenosha Evening News)
Organ music was played very softly all during the evening wedding of Miss Margaret Andersen, formerly of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Arnold Jensen, Saturday at 8 p.m., at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. Miss Minnie Larsen presided at the organ and gave the musical signal which began the bridal processional as the newly married Jensens left the altar. Miss Margaret Jensen, Chicago, a cousin of the bridegroom, sang "Because" and "At Dawning."
The services, performed by the Rev. James C. Peterson, was by candlelight amid a setting of palms, gladioli and mixed flowers.
A pearl clip accented the high rolled collar of the white lace dress worn by the bride, which was fashioned with a train and satin buttons extending down the back to the waistline, and a pearl tiara held her fingertip veil in place. White Killarney roses and sweet peas made up her arm bouquet.
Julian Andersen, brother of the bride, presented Miss Andersen, who is the daughter of Mrs. Bertha Andersen of Withee, in marriage.
