Wood, LaFrance W. #2 (1855 - 19 SEP 1938)

Funeral services were conducted today from the Griebenow-Weirich Funeral Parlors for LaFrance W. Wood, who for 22 years was a resident of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). He passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 1938, at the age of 83 years in an Oshkosh hospital. He had been of poor health for the past few years but was always optimistic and cheerful. He was given untiring care and devotion by his daughter and family. Mr. and Mrs. M.H. Nichols of Oshkosh, where he made his home since leaving Owen in 1936.

Rev. P.F. Pfaffman of the Congregational Church, Owen, officiated at the services. Interment was made at the Riverside Cemetery.

The honorary pallbearers at the services were Messrs. Peter Riber, Fred Earl, Wallace Hull, Walter Cattanch, Emil Haaya and Earle Kidd,……..(the rest of the obit was on another page that I missed copying)
