Oswald, Marjorie (6 OCT 1938)
Miss Marjorie Oswald of Chicago, Ill., became the bride of Theodore Bjorn of the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.), on Thursday, Oct. 6, 1938, when they were united in marriage at Dubuque, Ia. The service was read at 3 o’clock.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Oswald of Chicago. She is well known to many around Owen, as she spent the past summer visiting with friends here.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Bjorn of the town of Green Grove. He works with his father on the farm. Theodore attended school at DeKalb and Waukegan, Ill., before moving to Owen, Wis.
The couple were attended at the wedding services by bridesmaid, Miss Mary Jo Harkes of Dubuque, Ia., and Walter O. Meyer also of Dubuque, as best man, The men wore business suits of oxford gray and the bride and her attendant were attired in traveling suits.
The young couple will make their home on a farm in the town of Green Grove after Nov. 1.
