Ott, Merle (16 NOV 1938)
Miss Merle Ott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elias Ott of Stanley, was united in marriage to Ray Missling of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 16, 1938, at 2:00 o’clock. The wedding took place at the Methodist Church at Stanley, Rev. Vaughn performing the ceremony.
The bride wore a floor length gown of aqua blue satin with white accessories and carried a bouquet of Briar Cliff roses, white chrysanthemums and white pom poms.
Her attendant, Mrs. Francis McGaugh, wore a floor length gown of coral taffeta and a corsage of sweet peas.
The groom was attended by Lawrence Brandt of Withee. They were attired in oxford grey suits.
In the evening a six o’clock dinner was served to the members of the immediate families and friends at the church.
A wedding dance was held at Black River Tourist Park on Nov. 19.
The newlyweds will live on a farm south of Withee.
