Sterzinger, Margaret (Marriage - 11 May 1938)
Miss Margaret Sterzinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sterzinger, and Elmer Greaser, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Greaser, Sr., of Abbotsford were married at St. Mary’s parsonage in Colby Wednesday, May 11, Rev. L. J. Lang performing the marriage ceremony. Vera Beattle of White Lake, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Rudie Sterzinger, brother of the bride.
The bride was attired in a dark maize suit and her bouquet consisted of red and white roses and sweet peas. The bridesmaid wore a suit of pea rose and her bouquet was similar to that of the bride’s.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated in blue and yellow streamers for the occasion. Covers were laid for forty at a 5:30 dinner.
The young couple will make their home at Abbotsford where the groom is employed at the Badger State Lumber Co.
Out of town people here for the wedding were Misses Maryon and Barbara Hagelschur of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dahlke and family of Edgar, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jinisky of Unity, Ross Krueger of Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Rudie Vesley of Athens, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wicker of Edgar and Miss Violet Skerbeck of Dorchester, Wis.
