Stumpner, Helen Frances (9 July 1913 - 26 Sept. 2007)
LOYAL -- Helen Frances Stumpner, 94, of Loyal, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at Chippewa Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal. Burial will be in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Sunday at the Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
She was born July 9, 1913, in Menasha to Paul and Frances (Cherney) Daum. She married Arnold Stumpner on Nov. 14, 1935, at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield. He predeceased her on Feb. 18, 1990. They moved to Loyal in Oct. 1936 to take over the operation of her husband's family farm. They lived on the farm until Aug. 1977 when they moved into Loyal. She worked in the kitchen of the Loyal School District for several years.
Helen is survived by six children, John (Pat), Big Bend, George (Pat), Loyal, Virginia (Dale) Johnson, Eau Claire, Rita (Milt) Pachal, Wausau, Charles (Ione), Eau Claire, and Thomas (Linda), Fox Lake; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
