Hopfensperger, Lorraine (03 June 1913 - 12 Sept. 2007)

Lorraine Hopfensperger, 94, Abbotsford, died Wednesday, September 12th, 2007 at Continental Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held September 15th at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford, Wis. Burial was in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Holton with Reverend Dr. Paul C. Hunsicker presiding.

Pallbearers were Tom and Tim Wooley, Stan Hopfensperger, Don Watson, Jim and David Lostofka.

Lorraine was born June 3rd, 1913, in Appleton to Gustav and Bertha (Michelson) Filz.

She and Lawrence Hopfensperger were married June 9th, 1931 in Dorchester, Wis. Lawrence died August 4th, 1989.

Lorraine and Lawrence farmed in the Town of Holton. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her children, Elaine Lastofka, Appleton, Julia (Laurence) Watson, Abbotsford and Lawrence (Rose) Hopfensperger, Perkinstown; one sister, Ella Armitage, Ellenton, FL; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and seven brothers and sisters.

Maurina-Community Funeral Home assisted the family.
