Grube, Gerald Herman (29 May 1935 - 25 Sept. 2007)

Medford - Gerald H. Grube, 72, of Medford, died Tuesday, September 25th, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Saturday at the Hemer Funeral Home in Medford.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 29th, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Gerald was born May 29, 1935, in the Town of Green Grove to Victor and Helen (Lipprandt) Grube Sr.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959.

Gerald married Karon A. Dassow on June 29th, 1963, at Holy Rosary Church. He worked for 45 years as a heavy equipment operator around the Chicago area until retirement in 1997.

Surviving are his wife, Karon A. Grube, Medford; daughter Tammy (Dan) Weber of Dorchester; sons, Scott Grube of Medford and Todd (Diane) Grube of Rochester, Minnesota; eight grandchildren; brothers, LaVern (Joyce) Grube of Missouri, Roger (Ruby) Grube of Florida, Richard Grube of Medford, Kenneth (Stella) Grube of Dorchester, Douglas (Micki) Grube of Michigan and Victor (Debbie) Grube Jr. of Spencer; sisters Marlene (Jim) Schill of Hartford, Marcella (Roy) Sobeck of Wonewoc and Marilyn (Ed) Bruger of Spencer.
