Soloman Krause
Soloman F. Krause. 94 of Prentice, formerly of Curtiss, died Sept. 29, 2007, at Memorial Health Center in Medford.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss, Wis. Burial will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford and from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church Wednesday.
He was born March 16, 1913, in Hilbert to Edwin and Nora (Beil) Krause. Soloman and Emma Heimbach were married Dec. 14, 1940, in Waukon, Iowa. She preceded him in death June 1, 1999. They farmed in the town of Green Grove, Clark County. He hauled milk and logs. Soloman also helped build St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss, Wis. He enjoyed deer hunting and helping others.
Soloman is survived by his children: Greg (Pat) Krause of Prentice, Neil (Janet) Krause of Curtiss, and Carol Lindau of Marshfield; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
