Joseph Stanley Bogumill passed away peacefully on July 19, 2007 in College Place, Washington ending a valiant battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).
Joseph was born to Edward and Clarissa Bogumill on June 2, 1930 in New Glarus, Wisconsin. He attended schools in Thorp, Wisconsin followed by a proud 24-year career with the U. S. Air Force that took him to many parts of the world. He then spent 20 years working with computer networking and chip design, retiring in 1976 from AT&T Paradyne.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Dorothy of College Place; daughters: Diana Tiegs of Edmonds, WA and Donna Bogumill of Olympia, WA; plus four brothers and four sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at the Lynnwood Elks Lodge, 6620 196th Street SW, Lynnwood, Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to either: The American Humane Society or the ALS Division Muscular Dystrophy Association.
