Silampa, Bertha (Marriage - 26 Nov. 1938)

Miss Bertha Silampa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Silampa of town Green Grove, and Mr. Robert Wetzel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wetzel of the town of Colby, were united in marriage Saturday, November 26, at 10:30 A.M. at the Congregational parsonage at Owen, Rev. P. F. Pfaffman reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Miss Elsa Silampa of Chicago, Ill., sister of the bride, and Mr. Walter Wetzel of Hayward, Wis., brother of the groom.

The bride was attired in an ankle length gown of baby blue taffeta and her bouquet consisted of roses, sweet peas, and baby breaths. The bridesmaid wore a dress of copen blue taffeta and her shoulder bouquet consisted of roses.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The couple will make their home on the groom’s farm at Stetsonville.
