Tessmer, Mr./Mrs. C. P. (45th Anniv. - 25 Nov. 1938)
Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Tessmer entertained at a family gathering at their home in Colby Sunday in celebration of their 45th wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Tessmer were married in Colby, Nov. 25, 1893. Mr. Tessmer was born at Lomira and came to Clark county with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Tessmer in 1873. He was employed by the Soo Railroad for 31 years, for the last 23 years as bridge foreman. He retired four years ago.
Mrs. Tessmer, who was born at Milwaukee, came here as a child with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hecker. They always resided in Colby.
Mr. and Mrs. Tessmer have three daughters, Mrs. Helen Bird of Stevens Point, Mrs. Wallace Sossaman of Colby and Mrs. Ernest Passehl of Wisconsin Rapids. All three and their families were present. Axel Anderson of Waupaca was an out of town guest.
Mr. and Mrs. Tessmer received several beautiful gifts from their children.
