Junker, Alvin Albert (15 May 1907 - 27 Nov. 1938)

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal church, Colby, on Thursday afternoon for Alvin Albert Junker of Abbotsford, Rev. H. Lee officiating, and burial was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

The deceased was born May 15th, 1907, in Askeaton, Brown county, Wisconsin, and met his death by accidental drowning Sunday, Nov. 27, 1938, in the Manitowoc River. He attended Abbotsford, Wis. High school and graduated from that school on May 14th, 1926. Later, he took a course in business training in the Manitowoc Business College. For the past two years he made his home with his sister, Mrs. Elsie Braun, and was employed in the Invincible Metal Co. works of Manitowoc. He was baptized in the German Methodist church at Holfand, Wis., June 7th, 1907, by pastor G. H. Elske. His father preceded him in death eleven years ago. He leaves to mourn his untimely death, his mother, one sister, Mrs. Elsie Braun, of Manitowoc, two brothers, Henry Junker of Boyd, Wis., and Elmer who resides at home besides other relatives and many other friends.
