Flynn, Mary (29 Apr. 1900 - 15 Mar. 1939)
Miss Mary Flynn, former Colby, Wis. High School teacher, died Wednesday morning at 10:30 o’clock at her home in Eau Claire. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 o’clock Saturday morning at St. Patrick’s church in Eau Claire.
Miss Flynn was born April 29th, 1900, in Eau Claire where she graduated from State Teachers’ College. She received her M. A. degree from the University of Michigan last summer. The past four years, she taught U.S. history at the Wausau Senior High School.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. John Flynn of Eau Claire, three sisters, Mrs. Frank Friedeck of Eau Claire, Miss Sue Flynn, a nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls and Miss Dolores Flynn, teaching at Colby, and one brother, Lawrence Flynn of Eau Claire.
