Smith, Aminta (18 JUN 1870 - 4 JAN 1939)
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at two o’clock at Greenwood for Mrs. Sam Smith, 68, of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), who died Jan. 4, 1939, at her home in the town of Warner. The Rev. C.R. Gaylord officiated at the rites, and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith, nee Aminta Lavina Moore, was born June 18, 1870, at Preston, Minn. She was married April 25, 1894, at the Moore home near Popple River, to Sam Smith. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. George (Blanche) Braun of Greenwood and Mrs. Walter (Kate) Henrichs of Milwaukee.
One sister, Miss Ivy Moore of Minneapolis, Minn., and two brothers, Charles Moore of Owen and Joe Moore of Deer River, Minn., also survive.
