Lamont, Katherine (28 JAN 1939)
Miss Katherine Lamont, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Angus E. Lamont of Colby, and Bert Cattanch, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Cattanach of this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage on Jan. 28, 1939 at Dubuque, Ia.
The young couple were married at Dubuque, Ia., at a late afternoon service at which they were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gilbert of Fort Atkinson, friends of the couple.
The young couple are prominently known. The bride, after graduating from the Colby, Wis. High School, attended the Wis. Academy of Cosmetic Arts at Milwaukee. For the past two years she has been employed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Owen, Wis.
The groom has lived in Owen all of his life, graduating from the Owen High School in 1932. He has since attended the Eau Claire State Teachers College and the Wausau Business College. He is employed by the Northern States Power Company as a member of the construction crew out of Eau Claire.
The young couple will make their future home in Owen after June 1.
Their host of friends in Owen and vicinity sincerely wish them the best wishes for a happy wedded life.
