Farwell, Emma M. (26 SEP 1867 - 15 FEB 1939)
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Feb. 18, from the Plombon Funeral Parlors for Mrs. F.L. Farwell, who passed away at her home in Stanley, Feb. 15, 1939.
Emma Maud Andrews was born on Sept. 26, 1867, near Northfield, Minn., the oldest of five children.
In 1886 she was united in marriage to Fritz L. Farwell in the township of Farmington, Jackson Co. There they resided for eight years on the home farm. To this union was born three children, a daughter and two sons.
In 1900 they came to Clark County and resided there until ten years ago when they moved to Stanley.
The deceased is survived by her husband and two sons, Howard of Owen and Will of Stanley, the daughter, Bessie (Mrs. Ed Miller) having preceded her in death eight months previous.
Also surviving is one brother, James Andrews of Jump River, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was a kind and loving mother, devoting all of her time to her family. Besides caring for her own family she mother one grandchild, Eva (Mrs. Carl Hakes) from infancy.
