Peterson, Marian (Marriage - 18 July 1942)
Morvin Benedict, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Benedict, of York, and Miss Marian Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clar Peterson, of Loyal, were quietly married at the Methodist parsonage at Loyal Saturday evening at 8:30 o’clock. Rev. Taylor performed the ceremony.
The bride’s gown was powder-blue silk crepe, trimmed with point lace. She wore a string of pearls, a gift of the groom.
They were attended by Dorothy Kronberger, as bridesmaid, and Harvey Benedict, as best man.
The men wore dark suits with carnation boutonnieres.
After the ceremony they returned to York Center, where a shower was given them by a large number of friends and neighbors.
They will make their home at the home of the groom’s parents for a short time.
