Anderson, Annabelle B. (January 2, 1929 - September 24, 2007)
Annabelle B. Anderson, age 78, longtime Stanley area resident passed away on September 24, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, WI.
Services will be held on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Plombon Funeral Chapel, Stanley, WI with Pastor Craig Lindgren officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery, Stanley, WI. Friends and family may call on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Home. Plombon Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
Annabelle was born January 2, 1929 in Thorp, WI, the daughter of Jay and Maimie (Vander Hyden) Alger. She grew up in Thorp and attended St. Bernard’s Catholic School. She was united in marriage to Dale Anderson on May 21, 1946 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thorp, WI. They resided in the Stanley area where Annabelle worked at various jobs. Besides her great love for her family, Annabelle was very creative and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles and playing cards.
Annabelle is survived by her children: Denny Anderson of Stanley, WI, David Anderson of Bangkok, Thailand, Duane (Donna) Anderson of Withee, WI, Donna (Gary) Forsman of Mound, MN, Debbie Brown (special friend Ron) of Stanley, WI, and Dee Ann (Ed) Giwojna of Stanley, WI; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mildred Schmidt of St. Paul, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale, in 1984; three brothers: Edmund, Cyril, and Gilbert Alger, and one sister, Genevieve Schmidt.
