Tom Paun, our milkman, has been on the route the past week with the assistance of his nephew, Louie Paun. He was forced from the route by illness for six weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Huser, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scholtz and son, Duane, were blackberrying near Black River Falls Saturday. They report the berries large and plentiful.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Martin a baby girl Sunday, at 5:30 p.m. Louise Matonic is assisting with the housework.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moherson entertained her brother from Iowa the past week.

The shower held in honor or Mary Rosandich and Norbert Barton last Tuesday evening in the Sherwood Town hall was very well attended and very many useful and attractive presents were received.

Irene Brinkmeier is home to stay for a few days after graduating from a school of cosmetic arts in Milwaukee.

Rose Rosandich is home after working for a week for the Pittsville Canning Company.

Mr. and Mrs. Matt Dubernick and two children, Catherine and Annie, of Chicago, came Sunday evening to visit their friends and neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Rosandich and the Paun families.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rosandich are entertaining an aunt and uncle from Chicago.

Shortville and Sherwood played baseball Sunday afternoon, the score being 17 to 3 in favor of Sherwood.
