Ebling, Hildegarde (Marriage - 10 May 1939)
On Wednesday evening, May 10th, Miss Hildegarde Ebling, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ebling, town of Colby, became the bride of Norman Schorer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schorer. The marriage service was read by the Rev. Martin Goetsch in the parsonage at Green Grove.
For her marriage the bride wore a beautiful peach colored taffeta frock with a bolera, a peach colored head band and white slippers. Her shower bouquet was of peach carnations and white larkspur tied with peach ribbons.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ebling, the bride’s parents, attended the young couple. Mrs. Ebling wore pink crepe and a corsage of pink and white sweet peas.
Following the ceremony dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents for the immediate family.
Mr. and Mrs. Schorer are making their home in Abbotsford where Mr. Schorer is associated in the farm machine business with his father, Louis Schorer.
