Goelden, Laura Mrs. (Marriage - 10 June 1939)
Wearing a navy blue tailored suit, with matching hat and slippers, and a shoulder bouquet of roses and snapdragons, Mrs. Laura Goelden, town of Holton, exchanged vows with Edgar Lenhard, town of Rietbrook, Saturday at the First Presbyterian church in Abbotsford before the Rev. Ernest Hoover.
Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Senzel attended the couple. Mrs. Senzel was attired similar to the bride.
A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. George Brown, Abbotsford, for the immediate families and the pastor and his wife.
The table was decorated with a pansy centerpiece and at the church baskets of peonies and other garden flowers adorned the altar. A wedding dance that evening was given at the Trianon Gardens.
Mr. and Mrs. Lenhard are now at home to friends on the bridegroom’s farm, eight miles east of Abbotsford, Wis.
