Amelia Voigt

COLBY -- Amelia Voigt, 80, formerly of the town of Frankfort, rural Colby, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at the North Central Health Care Center in Wausau.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at Peace Lutheran Church in the town of Frankfort, Edgar. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford, Wis.

Amelia Mary Jahnke was born May 19, 1927, in the town of Johnson, Milan, to Martin and Mary (Bargender) Jahnke. She and Arthur Voigt Sr., were united in marriage June 19, 1944, in Abbotsford, Wis. He died Jan. 5, 2000. She was employed by Abby Cafe in Abbotsford for 13 years and worked seasonally at Figi's in Marshfield.

She is survived by her children, Arthur Voigt of rural Colby, Gerald (Maxine) Voigt of Appleton, Judy (Lonnie) Hoffmann of Tomahawk, Patricia (Tom Sr.) Kramas of Athens and Karen (Joe) Deffner of Aniwa; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Norman Jahnke of Delavan and Daniel (Florence) Jahnke of Milan.
