Benzschawel, Marie (4 OCT 1938)
Mr. Delton Ebben, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Ebben of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Marie Benzschawel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Benzschawel Jr., of the town of Withee (Cark Co.), were joined in wedlock by Rev. A.M. Muckerheide, at a pretty ceremony performed at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church at 8:30, Tuesday morning, Oct. 4th, 1938.
The bride was attired in a white satin gown with train. Her head was adorned with a velvet crown and finger tipped veil. Her cascade bouquet was of white chrysanthemums and pompoms. The couple was attended by Peter Moszkiewicz and Miss Cecelia Benzschawel, sister of the bride, and Mathew Benzschawel and Miss Donna Petranovich. The bridesmaids wore blue taffeta dresses with blue flowered velvet wreath and cap effect veils, carrying bouquets of yellow and rust chrysanthemums and pompoms.
The groom and his attendants wore dark suits.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and a dance at the American Legion Hall in the evening. The happy couple will be at home will be at home to their many friends, after a short honeymoon in northern Wisconsin, at Stanley, where the groom is employed.
Out of town guests at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schoenberger, Mrs. Jack Clark, and Mrs. Joseph Gruber and daughter, Mary Ann, of St. Paul; Mrs. John Syajko and daughters, Donna and Mary Ann of Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Primeau of Colby; Mrs. Harold Parker of Owen, Wis.
