Szymaszek, Paul (6 JAN 1882 - 12 OCT 1938)
Paul Szymaszek, a bachelor resident of the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), was found dead at his home northeast of Thorp, on Wednesday afternoon of last week by a neighbor. County Coroner P.C. Ludovic found, upon examination that the condition of the body indicated he had evidently been dead since Saturday or Sunday and that death probably resulted from an attack from eating boiled mushrooms, a pot of which was on the stove and showed evidence of being tainted.
The deceased was born in Poland, Jan. 6, 1882 and had reached the age of fifty-six years.
Surviving relatives are his cousin Mike Zaborowski of Thorp, and a sister, Mrs. John Tudrick of Milwaukee, Wis.
Funeral services were conducted at the Bogumill Funeral Home on Friday morning, Rev. F.A Kulig officiating, burial taking place in the East Thorp Cemetery.
