Cutkowski, John (15 JUN 1857 - 25 NOV 1938)

John Cutkowski, 81, an old resident of this vicinity (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.), died on Friday, Nov. 25th, 1938, of old age infirmities at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Slachetka in the town of Thorp, where he has lived for the past year, after retiring from farming.

The deceased was born in Poland on June 15, 1857. He leaves one son, Stanley Cutkowski of Thorp, and three daughters, Mrs. Helen Roody, Chicago, Mrs. Rose Chrzsusthuscz, Braham, Minn., and Mrs. Mary Kowalski, Thorp, also ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Church at Lublin at ten o’clock Monday morning, Rev. Polaszewski officiating and interment following in the parish cemetery.
