Czernicki, Clara (24 FEB 1902 - 13 JAN 1939)

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. Wisniewski at St. Hedwig’s Church Monday morning, Jan. 16th, for Mrs. Joseph (Clara) Czernicki, 36, who died of Carcinoma at the hospital at Stanley at 10:30 on Friday last.

Clara Hodorowski, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hodorowski, was born on Feb. 24th, 1902, at Milwaukee. She came to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) with her parents at an early age and resided on a farm in the town of Withee. On June 14th, 1920, she was united in marriage to Joseph Czernicki. Beside her husband, five children are left to mourn her untimely demise, Marie, Alice, Irene, and Joseph Jr., at home, and Edward of Delevan, Wis.; other surviving relatives are four sisters, Mrs. John (Anna) Tomkowiak of Withee, Mrs. Wm. (Helen) Leski, and Mrs. Joseph (Rose) Zielinski of Milwaukee, and Pauline Hodorowski of Thorp; four brothers, Joseph Hodorowski of Milwaukee, John of San Francisco, Calif., and Harry and Frank of Thorp,, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hodorowski of Thorp.

Interment was made in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were, John Zdrojkowski, John Stroinski, Nick, Andrew and Wallace Dobrzynski and John Filipek.
