Local resident Dies at age 61
Rites Saturday for Mrs. Steinwagner
Mrs. Joseph (Adelaide) Steinwagner, 61, a resident of 1217 Adler Rd., died at 6:45 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Hospital, where she had been a patient since Saturday. Her health had been poor for the past several years.
A funeral mass will be offered at 10:30 Saturday morning at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert Hegenbarth as the celebrant. Burial will be made in Hillside cemetery.
Friends may call at the Rembs Funeral Home beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday. The Christian Mothers Society of Hewitt will recite prayers there at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, the Rosary Society of Our Lady of Peace Church will conduct a prayer service at 3 p.m. Friday and the general rosary will be said at 8:30 Friday night.
The former Adelaide Miller had lived in Marshfield her entire married life and was a member of the Rosary Society of Our Lady of Peace Church. She was born Feb. 15, 1897, in Colby, where she was educated and married Mr. Steinwagner Nov. 7, 1916.
She is survived by her husband: four sons and four daughters, Aaron, Wakeman, Ohio, Mrs. Clifton (Helen) Pember and Mrs. Allen (Julia) Pember, Arpin, Mrs. Norman (Loretta) Tuchscher, route 3, Marshfield, James and Arthur, Marshfield, Herbert, Unity, and Mrs. James (Dorothy) Durst, Hewitt; two sisters, Mrs. Bernard Breitenbah, Merrill, and Mrs. Fred Weidman, Marshfield; and 22 grandchildren. One sister preceded her in death.

Local Resident Buried Saturday
Sevices Held for Mrs. Steinwagner
Burial was made in Hillside cemetery following services Saturday morning at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church for Mrs. Joseph (Adelaide) Steinwagner, 61, who died March 26. The Rev. Robert Hegenbarth was celebrant of the Requiem Mass. Pallbearers were Melvin Seubert, Ed Steinwagner Jr., Peter Christiansen Jr., Othmar Meyer, Albert Tremmel, and Vernon Spearbecker.
Coming from out of town for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Steinwagner, Wakeman, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller, Marquette, Mich.; Mrs. Robert Horn, Pickett, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Breitenbach, Merrill; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Steinwagner, Unity; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Pember, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Pember, Joyce, Shirley, Henry and Patricia Pember, Arpin, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Wolf, Chili; Mr. and Mrs. George Brost, Medford; Mr. and Mrs. Hal Verhoven, Wausau; Mrs. Marvin Lowery, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Steinwand, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. James Durst, Hewitt; Roland Spearbecker, Merrill.
