Simolke, Elva, Age 90, of Beaumont, CA., passed away 6/25/04. Elva was born 8/01/13 in Unity, Wisconsin. She was a teacher for 25 years and was employed by St. John Fischer Catholic School. She was a member of San Gorgonio Catholic Church and was previously a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Banning, California. She was honored for her many hours as a teacher at the House of Hope in Banning as a "Women of Distinction" by Soropthomist Internation in 1991. She taught English as a Second Language to Hmong students, and ran the 4-H Club for Hmong Girls.
Elva is survived by 2 sons, David Simolke, Beaumont, CA., Timothy Simolke, Kapowsin, WA.; Brother, Eugene Jones, Port Orchard, WA.; 10 Grandchildren; 12 Great-grandchildren. Mass 6/29, 11 a.m. at San Gorgonio Catholic Church, Beaumont, CA. Burial 6/30 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City.
