Roohr, Georgine (Marriage - 21 Sept. 1939)
Miss Georgine Roohr, daughter of Mrs. Alma Roohr of Colby, and Chester Klieber of Medford, son of Mrs. Ida Klieber of Medford, were united in marriage last Thursday, September 21, 1939, in "The Little Brown Church" at Nashua, Iowa, Rev. William Kent reading the marriage ceremony. Lorraine Hansen acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Archie Roohr.
The bride was attired in a becoming blue suit with blue accessories and her bouquet consisted of pink tea roses. The bridesmaid also wore a blue suit with blue accessories and her bouquet also consisted of pink tea roses.
A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother.
The bride is a graduate of the Colby, Wis. High school and the groom is a graduate of the Medford high school.
The young couple will be at home after Oct. 1st at Almond, Wis. The groom is employed at Stevens Point.
