Hansen, Lorraine (Marriage - 21 Sept. 1939)
Miss Lorraine Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hansen of Owen, Wis. and Archie Roohr, son of Mrs. Alma Roohr of Colby, Wis., were united in marriage last Thursday, September 21, 1939, in "The Little Brown Church" at Nashua, Iowa, Rev. William Kent reading the marriage ceremony. Georgine Roohr acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Chester Klieber.
The bride was attired in a becoming blue suit with blue accessories and her bouquet consisted of pink tea roses. The bridesmaid also wore a blue suit with blue accessories and her bouquet also consisted of pink tea roses. The bride is a graduate of the Owen high school.
A wedding reception was held at the home of the groom’s mother.
The young couple will be at home in Colby, Wisconsin, after September 25th, 1939. The groom is employed by the Bootzin Co. of Abbotsford, Wis.
