Weber, Dennis G. (24 Dec. 1929 - 25 Oct. 2005)
Dennis G. Weber, Sr., 75, of Antioch, died Oct. 25 at Lake Forest Hospital.
He was born Dec. 24, 1929 in Athens, Wis., the son of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Hoff) Weber.
Mr. Weber served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
On. Jan. 7, 1956 he married Agnes Apfelbeck in Colby, Wis. He lived in Elk Grove Village before moving to Antioch in 1970 where he was a member of St. Peter Church.
Mr. Weber owned and operated D.G. Weber Excavating in Antioch. He enjoyed fishing, playing practical jokes and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Agnes; seven children, Steven (Patty) of Waterford, Wis. Denise (Raymond) Zeman of Lake Villa, Debra (Russell) Richards of Burlington, Wis., Brad (Loretta) of Ingleside, Ann (Michael) Babiarz of Lake Barrington, Dennis Jr. (Sue) of Island Lake and Derek of Palatine; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Lyton Weber of Green Bay, Wis., and Lawrence Weber of Trenton, Neb.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Clyde Weber. Funeral services with Mass of Christian burial was held Oct. 29 at St. Peter Church, Antioch. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery, Antioch. Donations may be made for masses in his memory.
