Dlugolenski, Geraldine N. (3 Nov. 1919 - 7 Jan. 2005)

Geraldine N. Dlugolenski, age 85, of Oshkosh, died Friday morning January 7, 2005 at her home with her family at her side. She was born in Abbotsford, WI. on November 3, 1919 the daughter of the late Charles and Clara Baker Blake. On November 8, 1952 Geraldine married Ted Dlugolenski. She was a member of St. Josaphat’s Catholic Church. Geraldine retired from Hoffmaster, and was also a member of the Retirees Birthday Club. She volunteered at The St. Vincent de Paul, The Campfire Girls, and enjoyed bowling, and spending time at the cottage in Door County. Geraldine was also an avid Packers Fan.

Geraldine is survived by two sons; Mark Dlugolenski, of Oshkosh, Jim Gagnelius, Oshkosh, one daughter; Paula (Gary) Fitch, Oshkosh, five grandchildren; Justin Dlugolenski, Michael Fitch, Jason (Jennifer) Towne, Danielle (Alex) Spencer, Heather Jensen, three great-grandchildren; Blake Crosby, Brittany Jensen, and Jacob Towne. She is further survived by many other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son; Daniel Dlugolenski, one daughter, Judy Gagnelius, two brothers, and three sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday January 11, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Josaphat’s Catholic Church with The Rev. Robert Stegemann officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services. A memorial in Geraldine’s name has been established.
