Panek, Madyson Nicole (11 Jan. 2003 - 14 Apr. 2004)

Abbotsford, Wis. - Madyson Nicole Panek, the 15 month old daughter of Garret and Sara Panek, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield, WI.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 19, at Faith Lutheran Church in Goodridge, with Rev. Robert Dahlen officiating. Casket bearers included John Weets, Joshua Mayse, Dustin Erickson and Tim Panek. Honorary casket bearers included: Preston Panek, Allana Knutson, Jayde Serich, Jessica Housey, Marie Weets, Tawnya Panek and Jennifer Petersen. Interment was held at Landstad Cemetery in rural Thief River Falls. Madyson Nicole Panek was born January 11, 2003 in St. Cloud, the daughter of Garret "Charlie" and Sara (Knutson) Panek. She lived with her family in St. Cloud and Abbotsford, Wis.

Madyson is survived by her parents, Charlie and Sara of Abbotsford, Wis.; one brother, Preston at home; her grandparents, Larry and Laurie Panek of Thief River Falls and Janie Knutson of St. Cloud; great grandparents, Pat and George Panek of Goodridge, Ahleen Petersen of Deer River and Betty Knutson of Rochester; godparents, Marie and John Weets of Thief River Falls, Jayde Serich of Cohasset, Allana Knutson of Sauk Rapids and Tim and Tawnya Panek of Newfolden.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Allan Knutson and great grandparents, Kenneth Knutson, James Petersen, Sr., Genevieve Lane and Burton Lane.
