Bauser, Edward Mrs. (1874 - 16 Oct. 1939)

Mrs. J. J. Stadtmueller has received word of the death of her sister, Mrs. Edward Bauser, formerly of Colby, which occurred at the Sherwood clinic Monday morning from injuries to her hip, resulting from a fall. Funeral services were held from the Catholic church at Sherwood Thursday morning at 9:00 o’clock and burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery in Colby this Thursday afternoon. Rev. L. J. Lang will officiate.

Surviving are one son, John, at Sherwood; two brothers, Nick Lex of Sherwood and Edward Lex of Quarry; four sisters, Mrs. J. J. Stadtmueller of Colby, Mrs. Mary Borg of Oshkosh, Mrs. Walter Marjoriebanks and Mrs. James Kelaher of Chicago. A sister, Mrs. Thomas O’Connel of Milwaukee, died a few months ago.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Bauser, who died at her home in Sherwood, Clark county, October 16, at the age of 65 years, were held at the Catholic church at Sherwood on Thursday and burial was made in St. Mary’s cemetery in Colby, Rev. L. J. Lang officiating. Pall bearers were C. Joe Kraus, John Weix, Wm. Meyer, Andrew Arendt, L. W. Frane and G. C. Kerstens. Out of town people here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lex of Quarry, Mrs. Lloyd Lowe and Mrs. Wilbur Steiner of Hilbert, Mrs. James Kolaher of Chicago, Mrs. Harry Borg and Miss Florence O’Connel of Oshkosh and Mrs. Reuben Richards of Antigo, Wis.
