Wetzel, Mildred E. (Marriage - 28 Oct. 1939)

Miss Mildred E. Wetzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wetzel of Colby, and Therlow B. Wolfe, son of Mrs. Ernest Kowalk of Unity, were married Saturday, October 28, at 8:00 P.M. at the Lutheran parsonage in Marshfield, Rev. B. F. Matter performing the ceremony. Laura Wolfe, sister of the groom, and a student nurse at the St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Laurence Wetzel, brother of the bride, who is employed in the CCC camp at Perkinstown.

The bride was attired in a suit of navy blue wool and a white silk blouse and her shoulder bouquet consisted of roses and pompoms. The bridesmaid wore a suit of navy blue wool and a light blue taffeta blouse and her shoulder bouquet also consisted of roses and pompoms.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
