Strade, Bernice (Marriage - 4 Nov. 1939)
A very pretty wedding took place last Saturday, November 4th, at 3:30 when Miss Bernice Strade, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Strade, and Leonard Kademan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kademan, exchanged nuptial vows at the First Evang. and Reformed parsonage with Rev. S. A. Schmiechen officiating. Elaine Kademan, sister of the groom, was maid of honor and the groom was attended by Arnold Krueger, cousin of the bride.
The bride was attired in a beautiful floor length gown of aqua taffeta, necklace with aqua settings, shoulder length veil and headdress in aqua. The maid of honor wore a floor length dress of rose taffeta, a necklace with dark blue settings, shoulder length veil and headdress in rose. The bride’s bouquet consisted of roses and chrysanthemums and the maid of honor’s bouquet consisted of carnations.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with pink and blue streamers and a large wedding cake was the centerpiece on the table.
A wedding dance was held at Kraut’s hall in Curtiss, Wisconsin.
