Clayton, Elizabeth B. (23 Mar. 1874 - 20 Nov. 1939)

Elizabeth B. Clayton died Monday, Nov. 20th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Heppner, a stroke being the cause of her death. The body was taken to the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby where it laid in state until this Thursday morning when funeral services were held at the St. Mary’s Catholic church, Rev. L. J. Lang officiating, and internment was made in the parish cemetery.

The deceased was born in Highland Park, Ill., March 23, 1874, thus reaching the age of 65 years, 7 months and 28 days. She came to this community last January from Chicago and made her home with her daughter. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of Highland Park.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert Heppner of Colby, and a niece, Mrs. Henry Duellmann of Abbotsford, Wis.

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth B. Clayton, whose death was reported last week, were held Thursday, Rev. L. J. Lang officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery. Pall bearers were Richard Goldschmidt, Morris Gierl, John Halverson, Arthur Halverson, Melvin Brehm and Matthew Sazama.
