Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Pries of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, who died November 15th at the home of her son, Otto, were conducted Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Zink Funeral Parlors at Abbotsford, Rev. Nicolas Jardine officiating, and internment was made in the Westboro cemetery. Pall bearers were William and Harold Wepfer, John and Joe Zahorka, Arvid Carlson and Laurence Stolzman. Shirley and Phyllis Pries and Jeanette Curran were in charge of the flowers.
Mrs. Pries was born in Sweden Jan. 5th, 1857, and came to the United States in 1887. In January, 1891, she was married to John Pries at Chelsea, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Pries made their home on farms near Westboro and Rib Lake until Mr. Pries died in 1915. Since that time, Mrs. Pries lived with her children. The last two months of her life she spent with her son, Otto. Death came rather suddenly as she had been in comparatively good health until a few days before she died of diabetes and complications. She was a member of the Followers of Christ.
The deceased is survived by three daughters and one son - Mrs. Chester Curran of Rib Lake, Mrs. John Lucia of Westboro, and Mrs. George Fyksen of Marshfield and Otto of Abbotsford, Wis.
