Brandt, Lovella Ione (31 July 1922 - 30 July 2007)
Lovella Ione Brandt, age 84, formerly of Rural Plymouth, passed away early Monday evening (July 30th) after a short stay at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility.
She was born on July 31, 1922 in Granton (Town of Lynn) Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie Prust Sternitzky. She was baptized at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Lynn. She attended Granton Grade School.
On October 5, 1941 she married Ervin Brandt in Plymouth. The couple farmed in the Town of Plymouth for many years. Her husband preceded her in death on October 20, 1983.
She also worked as a housekeeper at the Plymouth Hospital for many years.
She is survived by her children: Carol (Bob) Schumacher of Oostburg, Ervin (Linda) Brandt of Plymouth, Joyce (Joe) Yekenewicz of Waldo, Allen Brandt of Plymouth; Five sisters: Vivian Wacker a resident of Rocky Knoll, Ermine Noll of Granton, Irene (Hal) Ratsch of Greenwood, Adeline Arndt of Neillsville; Her twin sister Luella Emaline Revling of Auburndale; Nine grandchildren: Todd (Tammy) Schumacher, Tracy and Travis Schumacher, Gary and Wendy Brandt, Jody Yekenewicz (Dedrick), Paula (Jason) Harter, Brian Brandt, Amy Van Beek; Seven great grandchildren Blake, Kyle, Kendall, Calah, Jayla, Kevin and Shelia.Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Ruth Ann.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday Evening (Aug 2nd) at 6:00P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Tom Fleischmann, Chaplin for Sheboygan County Health Care Facilities will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenbush Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 3:00 P.M. on Thursday until time of services.
A memorial fund is being established in Lovella's name for the Advantage Hospice Program.
The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Plymouth is serving Lovella's family. The family would like to thank Rocky Knoll and Hospice staff for their care, comfort and compassion given to Lovella and her family.
